Clients of the Sunrise Training Centre had a festive Friday last week, thanks to West Bay Neighbourhood cop Sharon Baillie.

PC Baillie arranged a Christmas party at the Centre and Santa made a special appearance to deliver goody-bags containing t-shirts and candies. The bags were donated by local company GoPro Training.

Shari Smith, Director of the Sunrise Training Centre, said, “All of us at the Sunrise Adult Training Centre are thankful for the time and efforts Officer Sharon Baillie gives to our programme and the support she receives from the RCIPS and community in providing a Christmas celebration each year for the Clients of the Centre. Officer Baillie is a part of our Sunrise family and the annual party is another way for our clients to interact with other community officers in a festive setting.”

PC Baillie was delighted that the clients had such a great time at the party. “ The joy on the clients faces was heart-warming. I visit the Centre every week as part of my community role in West Bay, but it was a real pleasure for me to be able to do something special for them, and with them, to celebrate the festive season.”
